Boat Landing

There are 35 public boat landings throughout Horry County, 27 of which are managed by Horry County Parks and Recreation. Most landings are located in rural areas, along black waters of the Great Pee Dee, Little Pee Dee, Lumber, and Waccamaw Rivers. Many of these accesses are appropriate for paddlers to launch from as well. Heavily trafficked landings, especially along the Intracoastal Waterway are not recommended for paddlers to launch from for safety reasons.

The following information identifies all public boat landings in Horry County, including those owned by the City of Conway, City of North Myrtle Beach, Grand Strand Water & Sewer, SC Department of Natural Resources, and US Fish & Wildlife Service.
