Horry County Mosquito Control will be conducting Aerial spraying Tuesday, September 15, 2026, as long as the weather permits. Spraying will start 2 hours prior to sunset and continue for 2 hours after sunset.
Spraying locations on this flight include:
• Floyd Page Rd
• Dog Bluff Rd
• Grange Rd
• Vaught Rd
The chemicals used for mosquito control spraying are approved by the EPA and SCDPR , they pose minimal risk to humans or animals. Individuals with asthma or other respiratory illnesses may wish to stay indoors and close windows and doors during spraying. In addition, homegrown fruits and vegetables should be washed, scrubbed, and/or peeled before eating.
To help keep our local honeybee population safe, beekeepers are urged to contact Horry County Stormwater to identify the location of their colonies. You can submit the location of your hive(s) online here: https://www.horrycountysc.gov/departments/stormwater/no-spray-request/
