Queen (HW+ Treatment Sponsored)

A Bulldog with mix
Meet Queen, a friendly and loyal companion residing at our local shelter. Known for her sweet nature, Queen has a unique way of communicating: a deep, resonant growl when seeking attention, which endears her to everyone she meets. Queen's loyalty is unmatched, making her a perfect candidate for someone looking for a steadfast friend. Her gentle demeanor and affectionate ways make every day brighter. Queen deserves a loving home where she can share her boundless love and loyalty. She is heartworm positive, but treatment is offered through HCACC. Consider opening your heart and home to Queen.

Queen was recently fostered by a family and this is what they had to say about Queen.

"I fostered Queen a week ago and was going to adopt her. Unfortunately my apartment complex doesn't allow pit bulls so I brought her back, but she was such a good dog I wanted to try and help her get adopted. Please post for everyone to see at the shelter and online for her!

Queen bonded to my 5 year old son right away at the shelter! She was so loving and gentle and walked right beside him. We took her home and she was so mellow and calm, my 6 month old even climbed on her and grabbed on her and she didn't move a muscle or seem to care. She was house trained and walked great on the leash, no pulling, barking, or even trying to confront people or other dogs on walks. She is spayed, UTD on shots, house trained, good with kids, good with babies, doesn't bark, people friendly and did just fine in our 2 bedroom apartment. She cuddled right up to my 5 year old in his bed right away and there was no worry at all about any aggression from her. She is only 2 years old but was so relaxed and calm she was more of an old lady! I was definitely considering naming her Mavis haha. I've included some pictures of her short stay with us to show how gentle and loving she was to both of my boys. She would have been a great addition to our family, she's the perfect dog but unfortunately the wrong breed because of the stigma of pit bulls. She was definitely becoming our little Queenie, Queenie Weenie lol. "
