Construction underway on New Road in Conway area

Roadwork is underway along New Road in the Conway area.

The paving project will require some extended road closures beginning Monday, May 12.

The closures will take place Mondays at 8 a.m. and extend until Thursdays at 4 p.m. as needed from Creel Street to Church St (Hwy 501).

Drivers are asked to remain mindful of the barricades in place at this location.

Entrances to the Conway Dog Park and the Lake Busbee Walking Trail will remain accessible from the Church St end of New Road.

Drivers are encouraged to find alternate routes to limit disruptions.
