Horry County Mosquito Control will conduct aerial mosquito spraying in the Carolina Forest area on Monday, September 15.
Spraying for this flight will concentrate on the following locations, weather permitting:
-Riverton Court
- International Drive
- Carolina Forest Boulevard
- Postal Way
The make up date for this flight is Tuesday, September 16.
All flights will occur two hours before sunset and up to two hours after sunset, weather permitting.
The chemicals used for mosquito control spraying are approved by the EPA and pose minimal risk to humans or animals. Individuals with asthma or other respiratory illnesses may wish to stay indoors and close windows and doors during spraying. In addition, homegrown fruits and vegetables should be washed, scrubbed, and/or peeled before eating.
