Horry County Government offices and facilities will be closed Monday, February 2, 2026, due to anticipated impacts from this winter storm.
Horry County Solid Waste Authority administrative offices and material recycling facility will be closed Monday. The landfill will open at noon, but it is dependent on conditions. Recycling and convenience centers operations will be dependent on their conditions.
Horry County Parks & Recreation and Horry County Memorial Library programs will be canceled Monday.
Public safety departments will continue to provide critical services.
Myrtle Beach International Airport is reporting multiple cancellations. Passengers are advised to check the status of their flights with their airline before coming to the airport.
Residents may continue to do business with Horry County departments at any time on the County's website at: www.horrycountysc.gov.
Community members are encouraged to stay weather aware and keep off the roads unless travel is essential.
