The Grants Division provides full life cycle grant management services to County Departments by researching grant opportunities, providing technical assistance, and administratively managing most Federal and State grants awarded to Horry County. We currently manage grants for public safety, infrastructure development, public health, and more. Some of our sponsors include, but are not limited to: the U.S. Department of Justice, U.S. Federal Railroad Administration, U.S. Treasury Department, Federal Emergency Management Agency, South Carolina Department of Commerce, State Law Enforcement Division, South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control, South Carolina Rural Infrastructure Authority, South Carolina Office of the Attorney General, South Carolina Emergency Management Division, South Carolina Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism, and the South Carolina State Library.
