Meet

Princess

A Terrier with mix
This is Princess. She was owner surrendered because of the health of her owner. While at the shelter she has went to foster with an employee of the shelter and it was found she loves kids, other dogs, and cuddling. She has been trained to beep boundary collar to stay in a boundary, but she likes to stay near you. She was curious about cats, but when told no she backed off. She for the most part is housetrained and has not had any accidents in the home and will stand by the door when she wants to go out. She has slept through the night in a bed.

Long walks or fenced in back yard is always the best environment for dogs, but exercise is the main goal. We can test our dogs with other dogs at the shelter, but not every dog may get along with your dog this is why if you do have a pet at home we strongly suggest meet and greets before adopting. When adopting an animal at the shelter please know the responsibility of an animal. Most of the animals at the shelter have come in as a stray which mean they may not know how to sit or stay. They also might not have manners such as not to jump. Adopting takes patience. Please research the dog breed you are interested in and remember it takes time. Refer to the sheltering 3/3/3 rule of adopting for help.
