Join the Horry County Animal Care Center for a 'Bark to School' fostering event! Fosters receive a special back-to-school surprise —backpacks and school supplies.

Those who foster a dog from August 12 to 15 will receive school supplies (while supplies last). The ACC hopes to have 30 dogs in foster homes for the duration of the event.

All ACC foster pets are supported by the Animal Care Center. Fosters have the first chance to adopt if the pet becomes a part of the family. 

The ACC has more than 100 pets available for adoption. You can see the list of available pets here. The Animal Care Center is open Monday through Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., and Saturdays, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
