General Job Description
Under general supervision, performs overall administrative, and clerical support for the Stormwater Department operations. Performs data entry and serves as a backup Road and Drainage Hotline Operator. Provides assistance to department management, co-workers and the general public as needed.
- Duties for this Position

- Performs various administrative support functions to assist the operation of the Stormwater Department.
- Serves as the back-up for the Cityworks Coordinator in their absence and performs those duties as assigned.
- Must be able to interact and communicate well with general public in a fast pace setting.
- Creates service requests and assigns to appropriate staff member
- Enters and manages data within the work order function of Cityworks
- Prepares correspondence, reports, official documents, etc. as directed.
- Assists with FEMA documentation and reporting.
- Assists co-workers in any areas necessary.
- Performs all other related duties as assigned.
- Position Minimum Requirements

- Requires Associates Degree in secretarial science, and/or two to three years of experience in an administrative office support position, or any equivalent combination of training, education and experience.
- Must be computer literate, and have the ability to utilize Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications.
