General Job Description
Under general supervision, operates a variety of types of heavy equipment, machinery and tools in order to perform maintenance and construction of drainage systems, including drainage ditches, maintenance ways, pipes and boxes.
- Duties for this Position

- • Skilled in operating multiple pieces of heavy equipment as assigned. Including steel track bulldozer/excavator, rubber track excavator, rubber tire backhoe/tractor and other specialized pieces of equipment
• Performs routine preventative maintenance on equipment as required.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Performs other related duties as required/assigned
• Vertical surveying
• Ability to install drain pipe both concrete and plastic
• Ability to read and understand construction plans as it pertains to stormwater design
- Position Minimum Requirements

- • High School education with three to five years of experience in heavy equipment operation or related field or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must possess a valid Class A CDL driver’s license.
