General Job Description
Under the immediate supervision of the Manager/Treatment Court Program, provides daily crisis intervention, education, counseling, resource, and referral and support services to participants in the Treatment Court programs. Monitors and coordinates each participant’s treatment
- Duties for this Position

- Completes clinical assessment and psychosocial on potential clients
- Prepares evaluation of candidates for presentation to Treatment Court Team
- Prepares all required or requested documentation
- Facilitates Group Psychotherapy
- Provides individual therapy to clients
- Provides “significant other” therapy for clients
- Maintains progress notes on all client interaction per DHEC Requirements
- Maintains client files per DHEC standards
- Performs crisis intervention when needed
- Administers and monitors alcohol and drug testing; records results
- Attends weekly court sessions
- Maintains a clinically appropriate treatment environment at all times
- Adheres to Ethics and Conduct per County and SCAADAC guidelines
- Adheres to all confidentiality regulations
- Position Minimum Requirements

- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a master’s degree in a counseling, mental health, addiction, or social work-related field.
- Working knowledge of alcohol and substance use disorder treatment. Considerable knowledge and experience in the application of therapeutic counseling techniques
- Must be able to pass the required pre-employment physical and background check.
