Under general supervision, is responsible for the transportation and supervision of Summer Camp Children’s Programs. Responsibilities include: transporting children to activities from the camp sites, and assisting in overseeing camp activities for children ages 5-12 years old. Assists with games, special events, and programs under the countywide Recreation Department Program. Ensures playing surfaces are clear and safe and programs are prepared for the activity. Administers general First Aid. Enforces and interprets rules and regulations in designated recreation districts. Provides assistance if necessary. Work involves the exercise of initiative, sound judgment, and discretion in the performance of duties.
