General Job Description
Under occasional supervision, performs a variety of complex administrative, secretarial and clerical duties in order to ensure effective and efficient office operations.
- Duties for this Position

- Provides assistance to department management, co-workers and the general public as required.
- Reports to immediate supervisor.
- Receives, reviews, prepares and/or submits a variety of documents such as department records, logs, inventory lists, routine reports, official documents, schedules, civil papers, etc.
- Performs general office duties, answering phones, taking messages, distributing mail, etc.
- Daily administrative support to command staff and office manager.
- Submit work orders to maintenance.
- Order Office Supplies.
- Coordinate Service Work Orders and order supplies from Ricoh.
- Be trained in the MUNIS software.
- Requisitions/Purchase Orders/Check Requests
- Prepare letters of correspondence
- Position Minimum Requirements

- Associate degree in Secretarial Science, or equivalent preferred and one year of general office/clerical experience or high school diploma and three years of clerical/general office experience, or any equivalent combination of training, experience, knowledge and abilities. Must have experience with computer and office software packages.
- Must be able to pass the required pre-employment physical, polygraph exam, and background check.
