General Job Description
Assists Library staff with the circulation of library materials received for the branch. Shelves materials returned by patrons. Reports to Branch Manager or Branch Librarian.

- Shelves library materials
- Keeps shelves neat and in order
- Answers directional questions
- Performs other related duties as needed
- Position Minimum Requirements

- Junior High School education with knowledge of numerical progression and alphabetizing, or any equivalent combination which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Exemplary customer service skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Must be physically able to carry stacks of books, push and pull book trucks, and maintain considerable amounts of standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling
- Must be able to pass required pre-employment physical and background check
- Must be able to follow Horry County Government and Library policies and procedures
